International Film Festival is one of the new types of events organized by the city of Sighet complementing Sighet cultural offerings to the public . The festival aims to familiarize the public in Maramures Romanian short film and feature film , but its inaccessible and foreign productions in cinema mode . Competitive section is reserved for short films and feature films out of competition are designed Romanian and foreign . Screenings take place outdoors in Central Park , starting at 21.15 , the public is invited to attend a film marathon . Access is free, viewers are invited to vote for the Audience Award , offered in the competitive sections .
